Napoleon himself, Derek Houck, was recently interviewed by The American Academy of Dramatic Arts Academy News about Napoleon Bon Appétit’s recent invasion of Amazon Prime Video. Derek talking about the inspiration for the series, his lack of culinary skill, and future projects. On the prospect of there being a third season, Derek has this to say:

A third season has been written. But at this point, we’d need some outside help to make it happen.

Napoleon Bon Appétit has partnered with 20/20 productions to distribute the cooking show with a complex across their network:

NAPOLEON BON APPÉTIT, the cooking show with a complex, features Napoleon and his Kitchen Wench as the hosts of their own cooking show. The pair conquer a new recipe every episode, delivering laughs and genuine cooking tips. Produced by Derek Houck and Katherine Browning, Season 1 of the series premieres today, April 3, with new episodes being released every Tuesday.

You can catch the episodes on YouTube, or on the Napoleon Bon Appétit channel of 20/20 Production’s website.

LOS ANGELES – Napoleon Bon Appétit, the cooking show with a complex, is set to conquer a host of new web platforms. Beginning November 30th, seasons one and two of the series will be released in high definition on blip.tv, YouTube, iTunes, Boxee and Roku.

“This move will allow Napoleon to invade not just your computer screen, but your mobile phones, your tablets, and even your television. All in glorious high definition,” said Derek Houck, who plays Napoleon. “No screen is safe!”

Napoleon Bon Appétit stars Derek Houck (United States of Tara, Cataclysmo) as the famous Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte and Katherine Browning (The Carpenter) as his Kitchen Wench. Over the course of two seasons, the show has featured numerous guest stars, including former America’s Next Top Model finalist, Kimberly Leemans. Other cast members include Nicholas James, Heidi Schooler, Christine Moore, Rachel Whitman, Sasha Carrera and Robert Walters.

Napoleon Bon Appétit was written by Houck. Browning serves as the producer, along with David Walters. All episodes were directed by the Accolade award-winning Mike Campbell. The series is from Black Falcon Productions and Mahatma Dragon Productions in association with Three Roses Entertainment.
